About the Gold on the Streets Calendar
Images for this calendar are the creation of artists and stroke survivor Lil Sullivan. They are a celebration of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics Games. It has been created from detritus picked from the streets of Brixton, London.
Lil Sullivan was born in London of Irish parents and grew up in Killarney, County Kerry. Lil is an artists and stroke survivor living and working in Brixton.
This Calendar is created to support the Stroke Association and the London Stroke Action Council in their work to make the public aware of the daily struggle faced by stroke survivors and to raise funds to campaign for more support. By buying this calendar you are helping to make a positive difference to stroke survivors, their families and carers.
On behalf of myself and all other people affected by stroke, we thank you for your supporting us.
